Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ZeroSMS (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you use our messaging platform at zerosms.net (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
- Account data — name, email, company, password hash, and billing details you provide.
- Message data — the sender IDs, recipient numbers, message content, timestamps and delivery results you submit to send messages.
- Usage & technical data — IP address, device/browser information, login activity and logs used to operate and secure the Service.
- Payment data — processed by our payment partners; we store transaction records but not full card or crypto wallet credentials.
2. How we use information
- To provide, route and deliver your messages and maintain your wallet and invoices.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Service and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To communicate with you about your account, transactions and service updates.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.
3. Message content and recipient data
When you send messages, you are the controller of the recipient numbers and content; we process that data on your behalf solely to deliver your messages and report delivery. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and valid consent to message your recipients. We do not sell recipient data or use your message content for advertising.
4. How we share information
- Mobile operators and routing partners — recipient number, sender ID and content are passed to the networks required to deliver each message.
- Service providers — hosting, payment and email providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
- Legal — where required by law, regulation or valid legal process, or to protect our rights and users.
5. Data retention
We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Message metadata and content are retained for a limited operational period for delivery, reporting and dispute resolution, then deleted or anonymised.
6. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls and encrypted storage of sensitive credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.
7. International transfers
Message delivery is inherently international: recipient data is transmitted to operators in the destination country. Where we transfer data across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards where required.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. Recipients wishing to stop receiving messages should reply STOP or contact the sender who messaged them.
9. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the Service. We do not use them for third-party advertising.
10. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time; material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.
